Slices of Time

Can time be sliced?

Slices of Time is a photographic installation that explores the passage of time, the transformation of light, and the dynamics of space. Capturing the changing hues of the sunset at five-minute intervals, the images are layered, suspended, and arranged in a way that allows time itself to unfold within the space.

Photography traditionally freezes a single moment, but this work challenges that stillness—images are fragmented, expanded, and overlapped, creating a visual echo of time in motion. Instead of observing a static photograph, the viewer walks through shifting layers of light and shadow, engaging in an interactive experience where time is no longer linear but spatially immersive.

The colors of the sunset fade, the boundaries of the image blur, and the traces of time linger in the air.
Can time truly be divided, or are we merely attempting to grasp its fleeting essence?
